At the Innovation Park the fourth pole of Unimore

The agreement between the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Stu Reggiane spa and Unindustria Reggio Emilia for the construction and opening of the fourth University Campus in the Reggiane Innovation Park has been finalized.

The building will host four courses of study dedicated to Digital, two already active and two new. It develops  the academic activity of Unimore and, at the same time, the vocation to research of the Innovation Park, bringing companies and universities closer together in a relevant and prestigious way.

The new fields of research and university teaching that will take place in the Innovation Park is strategic also with regard to the employment of young people: it is estimated that by the end of 2024 the Italian job market will require 1.5 million experts with digital skills.

“The fourth university campus in Reggio Emilia – says Luca Torri, CEO of Stu Reggiane spa – is one of the cornerstones of the Innovation Park project, that is to bring together in one place companies, research laboratories, graduate schools and universities. Now the Innovation Park is one of the most interesting realities in the national panorama as it can guarantee the stable presence of all the subjects involved in research, innovation and economic development. Alongside the space dedicated to the University, the incubator dedicated to Start-Ups and Open Innovation will be created, managed collaboratively by Silk Faw and Fondazione Rei, to complete and fully implement frontier activities in the fields of energy transition and automotive”.
