Projects

We build networks between scientific institutions, companies, policy makers and stakeholders and all economic and social actors in the territory in order to transform innovation needs into projects to be financed through regional, national and European resources.
The development of projects designed and implemented on the needs of the productive system and the advanced research sector qualifies Reggiane Innovation Park as a dedicated hub, capable of attracting and exchanging resources, skills, relations and strategies in Europe and in the world.

Reggio HUB

Attracting, retaining and developing the most talented and qualified human resources available on the job market: Reggio Hub is the name of an innovative matching system to facilitate relations between local production and research ecosystem and foreign students, researchers, professionals, young people who have reached higher levels of education, technical and managerial skills and innovative knowledge.

The project promoted by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia in collaboration with local stakeholders, started in April 2016, aims at strengthening local policies to support the internationalization of SMEs through the design of actions that involve the entire territorial system, as public administration, companies, university and centers for R&I, trade associations and cultural actors.

Technological innovation for Biogas plants

The “Innovative Hydrogen-based technology for improvement of Biogas generation plants” project provides for the development of a feasibility study to enhance the biogas supply chain, present in our province with about 30 plants, to identify a model that can be replicated at European level, where the biogas network reaches over 18,000 plants. The study will be carried out, in fact, through a public-private partnership coordinated by the Research, Innovation and Internationalization Unit of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia in collaboration with CRPA Lab and the REI Foundation, which involve senior researchers in the renewable energy sector.
