From 23 to 26 September 2025, Reggio Emilia hosted Placemaking Week Europe, one of the main international events dedicated to the transformation of public spaces.

For four days, the city became a hub for discussion among urban planners, designers, institutions, activists, and European organizations committed to building more inclusive, liveable, and participatory places.
Reggiane Parco Innovazione was also among the event's protagonists, hosting workshops, guided tours, panels, and participatory activities, part of a program that involved various locations in the city.
The event represented an important opportunity to showcase local experiences of urban regeneration and bring them into dialogue with an international network of practices and visions.
A moment of exchange and connection that strengthened the Park's positioning as a hub open to the city and Europe.
