Built in the early decades of the twentieth century as the residence of the director of the Officine Meccaniche Reggiane , the villa stood out for its strategic position – a few steps from the factories and the railway – and for the sober elegance typical of the industrial architecture of the time.

Today, after a major renovation, the Director's Villa has once again become a hub for the city's cultural and social life. The spaces, preserved in their original structure, house the ARCI Reggio Emilia headquarters and the CEPAM music school , two entities that embody its community spirit, transforming the building into a place of encounter, education, and creativity.

Inside, a succession of classrooms, rehearsal rooms, and laboratories host courses, events, and cultural initiatives every day, confirming the place's vocation as a "home of people and ideas."
The villa is today a bridge between past and future: From Reggiane's executive residence to a shared space dedicated to culture, music and participation, returned to the city and fully integrated into the Innovation Park network.
