The Mangimificio Caffarri, once home to the eponymous business and, even before that, the metalwork shop of the Officine Meccaniche Reggiane, is today one of the most significant examples of urban regeneration in the Santa Croce district.

With a total surface area of ​​approximately 2.400 square meters, the project has given the community a place where creativity, culture, and sport intertwine.

The regeneration of these spaces has enhanced historic elements such as the silos, windows, and original structures, transforming it into a functional and welcoming space. This is home to Remida – Creative Recycling Center , with its studios and workshops, the MaMiMò Theater Center , and the Reggiana Boxe club , which bring the building to life with educational, artistic, and sporting activities.

In 2024 , the Caffarri also hosted a site-specific intervention by David Tremlett , whose pictorial interventions transformed walls and surfaces into living works. A powerful statement, it underscores the venue's vocation as a space for art and experimentation, capable of blending industrial memory and contemporary visions.
