Built in the early decades of the twentieth century, Shed #17 was one of the production hubs of the Officine Meccaniche Reggiane.

The restoration and regeneration work on this space has preserved the historic facades and introduced two new architectural volumes that respect the original profile, preserving the memory of the place while projecting it towards new uses.

A distinctive feature is the large covered plaza, spanning over 1.200 square meters, located between the two blocks leaning against the historic facades, with a transparent roof. Versatile and accessible, the plaza lends itself to hosting events, workshops, and opportunities for discussion, blending the industrial heritage of Reggiane with the energy of contemporary activities.

Shed #17 is home to the ITS Maker Foundation, offering advanced training courses in mechanics, mechatronics, and the digital industry; Officina Credem, developing innovative solutions in the financial sector; Forsafe; Ernst & Young; the professional associations of Architects, Engineers, and Chartered Accountants of Reggio Emilia; and catering and services for visitors to the Park.
